Yearly Roof Maintenance
Do:

• Look for broken or missing roofing material.
Do Not:
• Do not pressure wash your roof.
Inspect for water damage from leaking roofs
Inspect your roof Annually
Most residential roofs are covered with asphalt shingles that are designed to last 15-25 years. Other roofing systems consist of clay, metal, slate or tile. These usually last a longer period of time. All of these roofing systems require some maintenance if they are to reach their life expectancy.
Missing Shingles:
Look for missing or loose shingles as this can lead to a major
failure of the roofing system and cause leaks.
Trees close to roof:
Be sure trees are not touching the roof. Trim back any
overhanging branches. Debris from trees can damage your
roof and clog your gutters.
Discoloration, algae, mold and fungus:
Streaks in your roof usually indicate a fungus problem. The growth of fungus can deteriorate the shingle. Call us about
